3,400 InfoLine calls were answered, providing information and referrals to people living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.

Information Seminars

Delivered 12 Newly Diagnosed Seminars and 6 GP Seminars across NSW, ensuring individuals and professionals alike have access to critical knowledge.

Support Groups

75 support groups offered more than 2,500 participants valuable peer-support in cities and regional areas – including online via Facebook and Zoom video-chat sessions.

Counselling Sessions

The demand for counselling remained strong, with our dedicated team conducting 230 sessions addressing issues such as anxiety, caregiver stress, and the challenges of managing progression.

Parkinson's Specialist Nurses

Our four community-based Parkinson’s Specialist Nurses travelled nearly 18,000 kilometres, completing over 240 consultations and supporting over 2,370 patients. They played a vital role in expanding neurological telehealth services, with sessions growing more than fivefold.

We were proud to join the National Parkinson’s Alliance, amplifying our voice at both state and national levels. Our ongoing outreach to government and healthcare leaders continues to secure better outcomes for the Parkinson’s community.

Parkinson’s NSW is a for-purpose organisation striving to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s, their families, and carers.

We provide essential services such as counselling, Support Groups, an InfoLine supported by Parkinson’s Registered Nurses, education, NDIS advocacy, Support Coordination and fundraising for service delivery. 

Our mission is to improve the quality of life of people affected by Parkinson’s.
