I am Stepping up for Parkinson's this May.
During the month of May, I will be Stepping Up for Parkinson's.
This is my fourth year of Stepping Up for Parkinson's and nine years since I was diagnosed.
I've been lucky in that I have great support from family and friends.
Your generous support will assist me in reaching my fundraising goal and allow Parkinson's NSW to continue its mission to enhance the quality of life for people living with Parkinson's, their carers and families.
Parkinson’s is a neurodegenerative disorder. There are currently 219,000 Australians living with Parkinson's. Of these, 18 per cent are of working age.

Hard to step up when you are flying
Saturday 3rd May May 2nd saw me heading off on a long ago planned holiday to Borneo with my two sisters and a niece. With 3 hours at the airport before departure, 9 hours flying, 5 hours waiting at the next airport and the next three hours flying the last leg to Sandakan, it was hard to get many steps done.
